After doing some research on ancient Greek armor, I painted this image of the legendary first marathoner Pheidippides, running across the plains of Marathon.

This painting was also printed in the April 9, 2010 issue of the Wiener Zeitung, see below.

In 2013 this painting will appear in a Dutch educational textbook on German language for the high school, "TrabiTour".
