I've driven past this barn numerous times and I always felt it would make a nice painting. With the massive snow we had in February I knew it was a great opportunity for a unique view of the barn.

I photographed it at sunset, spending an hour as the light changed, looking for the best shot. The painting is a composite of the photographs I took that afternoon.
