This was created specifically for the Connecticut WaterColor Society 2019 Annual Show. It's a portrait of my granddaughter when she was about 3 years old, she's 16 now. I've done a number of family portraits so I thought she'd like this one.

Originally I painted this with a lighter background. After about six months of looking at it I decided it needed to go darker.
